Educators Now: Filling Teaching Positions and Reducing Teacher Turnover
Temporary, long-term, and permanent positions are available at Educators Now, a top education staffing agency. The company helps fill day-to-day teaching positions in a variety of settings, including preschools, elementary schools, after-school programs, and more. The company’s guiding principles have a significant role in its day-to-day operations. “Quality, Flexibility, and Going Above and Beyond are just a few of our favorite core values that we look for when considering others joining our team,” says Keedar Whittle, Founder and CEO of Educators Now. Educators Now have a deep understanding of the needs of its partner schools and the importance of finding the best possible teachers to fill those positions. Keedar’s dedication to education is seen in his efforts to strengthen Educators Now’s ties to each school by forming new alliances and collaborating with community groups. To guarantee they are qualified to provide the services requested, we carefully screen all of our teachers. He continues, “Let us find you permanent or temporary work, with the shared goal of enabling each student to realize his or her full academic potential.
QUALITY PROVISION instructors for All Educators Now was established in response to a dire need to staff schools with qualified instructors on an ongoing or temporary basis. The company’s current focus is on helping schools fill teaching positions and improving their day-to-day operations. According to Keedar, the development since the establishment has been rapid and remarkable. Keedar and his company have found that recommendations from satisfied customers work best. However, since the company’s beginning, there have also been challenges that needed to be addressed. Getting customers and teachers to believe in our abilities was challenging at first. Recruiting and retaining enough high-caliber teachers has been and is our second major difficulty. There are around 700 openings in public schools throughout the nation every year. What can we do to bridge the gap?! You’ve hit on one of our goals! Educators Now has expanded by more than 450% in the last three years. Because of this expansion, the team has been able to aid more than a hundred teachers in securing long-term employment and give funding for educator education. Those in the midst of a career change may use their teaching experience and skills to find meaningful work through Educators Now.
Statement of Partnership, not of Service to Schools and Programs
“We are NOT a temp agency, but rather an education organization. The educational institutions and initiatives we support are our partners, not our customers. We differentiate ourselves in this manner because we want to be of assistance in whatever way we can. To better serve our current schools and the teachers who work with us, we have forged partnerships with groups from the outside world. For instance, we collaborate with a group in Atlanta that will cover all of their educational expenses and offer supplemental funds for living expenses if they want to pursue a career in teaching. Quite a few of our faculty members actively make use of this possibility. Some of our schools benefit from our collaborations with financial institutions that provide financial planning and instruction. Keedar describes the guiding principles of Educators Now, which center on making education accessible, non-traditional, and feasible in order to boost teacher retention and reduce the vacancy rate.
Issues Facing the Education System in the Post-Covid Era
Keedar thinks that Covid-19 has shown us where we’ve been lacking in terms of education and forced us to rethink our priorities. Accessibility varies considerably from state to state, county to county, and even school to school. He argues that it is unreasonable to expect academics to improve when some of them lack even basic resources like internet connection. Work packets are distributed by certain schools. Task cards? The use of work packets is the shortest route to a teacher’s dismissal. Why, therefore, is it socially acceptable now? We didn’t appreciate the benefit of every family having internet connection or every student having access to technology before COVID because we weren’t ready for it. Keedar continues, “If we don’t act with purpose and speed, we’ll be 2-3 years behind when it’s all said and done. He is certain that the “new” expectations established in the wake of Covid will shape the world in incalculable ways. Teachers at our school are required to sign a release saying they won’t come in if they’re sick or have been exposed. It may be challenging for children to have two parents who work from home and are also educators, caregivers, and support personnel. Most parents don’t have the same level of training as teachers when it comes to imparting knowledge to their children. Educators will be sent to students’ homes or made available online to help with lessons, expanding the company’s previously announced approach for delivering education.

True Calling
Keedar said confidently, “Education is my calling in life,” when questioned about his career choice. “Changing Lives Through Education” is my motto, and I am the Rockstar of the Education world. This has always been the real me. It runs in my family. I’ve always appreciated learning and the power it gives me to affect the world. The mere fact of knowing may be decisive. I find happiness in other pursuits and enjoy a successful professional life outside the classroom, but teaching is my true calling. Going forward, educators need to get sufficient training, support, guidance, rewards, and retraining. The educational process is dynamic and never static. We adapt to the changing environment around us. Changes in technology, family relationships, the stigmatization of mental illness, educational practices, and other areas are now part of our daily lives. Constant improvement is critical, and our teachers need help adapting to new circumstances.
Keedar, anticipating explosive expansion, adds, “Educators Now will continue to grow because we solve problems.” We will dominate the Southeast market for educational services over the next five years, the United States market during the following fifteen, and the global market well before the year 2020. More significantly, however, we want to see enrollment in teacher preparation programs grow and the number of unfilled teaching positions drop.
